My Service

I Offer a Service to Be the Second Person in Prayer

Matthew 18:20 says, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."  I can be the second for your prayer.

Business Prayers

Pray about your business before you create it.  Pray about your business during the construction or creation and for our world leaders.  Pray for encouragement during low sales, and don't forget to thank God for every penny you earn, and the reality that you have the money to pay your bills.  God says in 2 Corinthians 9:6-10, "Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working for a living?  Who serves as a soldier at his own expense?  Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit?  Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?  Do I say these things on human authority?  Does not the Law say the same?  For it is written in the Law of Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain."  Is it for oxen that God is concerned?  Does he not certainly speak for our sake?  It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop."

Proverbs 11:25 says, "Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered."

Matthew 25:35-37 says, "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.  Then the righteous will answer him, saying, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?"

If you have an abundance, share it.  Give to a homeless shelter or a food bank.  They are always in need.  Luke 12:48 says, "But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating.  Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more."

Home and Life at home

Pray for your family alone and pray together when ever possible. Pray for the house to be a warm/cool safe place for you to dwell and that you have abundance even in hard times. Hebrews 11:6 says, "And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." Declare out loud, Joshua 24:15  "...But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."  Teach your children this when they are small and they will remember.

Pray for the sick, the needy, the elderly, and all your friends and families.  I like to pray for my neighbors, (neighbors around the world) and even though I do not know them, I pray that they seek Jesus' face and repent of their sins, so Jesus will know them.  I also pray for my enemies (no idea who they are, but Jesus does) that they seek Jesus' face and repent of their sins, so Jesus will know them.  After neighbors and enemies repent, Jesus will send the Holy Spirit to convict them and draw their behavior toward a Jesus-centered life. Truth.  You've got to mean the repenting.  He knows the heart.

Repent and accept Jesus' forgiveness

Repentance is when you tell Jesus about your life's sins. Yes, all of it. You have to mean it. You must mean it from the heart. He knows a fib or half-truth. That is not acceptable. If this is difficult for you, pray for the Holy Spirit to help you with words, and to help your heart posture. Have you ever said you were sorry about something and not mean it? This is what I mean. It is hard and can take some time. But let me encourage you to invite the Holy Spirit in, to help you. He is awesome.

Be forgiven. Accept it with thanks and, don't be surprised if you wonder if you're doing it right, or uncertain that Jesus is hearing you. Let me encourage you to keep going. It's OK, and in my experience quite normal to feel uncertain. Keep praying... each time you get that thing off your chest, you've confessed your sin, pray again to the Holy Spirit to help you confess it all, and to remind you of other sins in your life that might need to be repented. Maybe it takes a month or two... everyone is different, there's no time limit or maybe it takes less.  In my experience, the Holy Spirit sent me a memory I forgot about. I immediately wrote it down and prayed about it asking Jesus to forgive me.  Keep it going. Then one day... wam! That peace that surpasses all understanding.... He gave it to me. My words can't explain how I needed this peace, my desperation was like a hunger, like needing air. Now, I want this for my kids, my husband, my mom and dad, my friends...

A Test

After repenting, God put me on a forgiveness journey, a test.  Do you ever avoid people because you don't like them, or they just don't like you and you know it? Well, get ready to forgive them. In my opinion, anything less than 100% is a failure. We are all sinners. I'm quite certain that I failed here, and I'm hoping that I get another chance to forgive those whom I didn't. This fact compels me to tell my forgiveness journey to whoever reads this. I hope that you will do better than me.

My experience was like Jesus showing me faces, or a feeling of a person that I knew or know, and there were no words, even soI knew what was going on. I knew the question. Everyone, each person in my life flashes somehow before me. That took a while... think about it. I'm in my 50's and everyone who did me wrong, or dirty. Talked bad about me or did bad things to me. I was on trial to forgive. It was so strange, I wasn't angry or upset, and I had a calm like nothing I'd ever felt. Familiar faces flashed, or feelings about people came to me and I knew. I wasn't agitated, but I did get tired of it... that is when I lost it. So, I'm sorry to all those whom I didn't forgive. I hope to do better if Jesus gives me another chance and I want you to think after reading this about forgiveness. Just forgive, you'll be glad you did.  â€‹

I still have work to do, but I continue to work on forgiving people. Greedy, mean, liars,  and the evil. Remember something, remember that we all sin.  Ephesians 4:32 says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Nothing I did earned His forgiveness, but He forgave me anyway. I can never get that back, but I know He did. Jesus loves me and He wants me to share this with you because he wants to forgive you too. But I can not do the work for you, you have to take these steps. Your journey may be different than mine but I want to encourage you to try. He wants to love you too.

Faith is good, and can grow

Matthew 17:20 says, "He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "move from here to there", and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you." Sometimes our problems seem bigger than ever. This is when I remember, my God is bigger than any problem. This keeps me moving forward. Deuteronomy 20:1 says, "When you go out to war against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt."

Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." With Jesus on your side, you can not fail, because if he wants you to win, it is finished. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

Faith to me, means repetition in reading passages. It also means praying daily about what it is He wants me to do that day. I also ask the Holy Spirit to help me with my iniquities and to confess them as needed. Oh, also, when I "ask" for something, whatever it is, I try to remember to listen for his answers. Pray in silence and give Him time to respond to your requests. Sometimes no response is the answer.

Construction ahead

When you've accepted Christ Jesus into your life, expect construction. This can mean uncomfortableness, chaos, confusion, people leaving your life, new jobs, moving... Holy Spirit may lead you to a different place, to grow closer to Him to mold you for your purpose. Pray for His hand, pray for understanding and faith to trust in Him even when things are hard. Jesus will make room for the new you to walk in the purpose He has for you.

Trusting God with your pruning, the sifting. Jeremiah 5:10 says, "Go up through her vine rows and destroy, but make not a full end; strip away her branches, for they are not the Lord's." Proverbs 3:5 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." Trusting the Lord is for the good of Him the creator and for all.  â€‹â€‹

Follow Jesus

1 Kings 18:21 says, "And Elijah came near to all the people and said, "How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him." And the people did not answer him a word." Be firm in your faith, stand firm in following, and be intentional.

Matthew 8:22 says, "And Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead." Sometimes, leaving what is dead is the way to move forward. Following Him will bring you to your purpose and His everlasting peace.

Praise Jesus

Matthew 21:16 says, "and they said to him, "Do you hear what these are saying? And Jesus said to them, "Yes; have you never read, "Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise?" 2 Peter 3:18 says, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Praise is important and lets Him know our hearts and it can lighten the heart. I attend a church with a lively band and singing. We sing for about 20 minutes and in between sermons. It does add to the length of the visit but how do I feel when I'm don't? I'm lit! I'm on fire for His word, the meaning of the sermon for my life, and the prayers affect my week to give a great beginning.
